Today’s big streaming debut is Clown in a Cornfield. The slasher movie will eventually stream on Shudder, but for now it’s on TVOD platforms like Prime Video and Fandango at Home. Also of note today is Bleeding, a new release from Screambox. Check out trailers for both of those films plus three more in the list below.

Clown in a Cornfield

The small town of Kettle Springs has been mired in hard times ever since an incident involving the town’s factory created a rift between the community’s youth and its elders. The beloved mascot of the factory, Frendo the Clown, became the subject of horror videos made by a group of friends, but the fun and games end when Frendo starts killing people for real.
Bleeding
For viewers who enjoy: vampires, drug/addiction movies, bleak narratives
“Dust” is a drug made from the blood of vampires, and it is a drug that has caused cousins Sean and Eric to flee from their hard home lives. They break into what they think is an abandoned house, but they find someone locked inside who starts a series of dark and disturbing events.
The Matriarch
For viewers who enjoy: domestic horror, maniacal mothers, cat and mouse horror
A thirteen year old girl defends herself from her mother’s scummy boyfriend, resulting in the man’s death. This sends the girl’s mother into a drug-and-murder-fueled rage in which she hunts and chases her daughter with the absolute worst of intentions.
Creeper in the Woods
For viewers who enjoy: camping horror, masked killers, backwoods horror
A group of friends on a camping trip encounter a pair of local brothers, one of whom dons a mask and begins hunting the campers.
Zombies of the Third Reich
For viewers who enjoy: Nazi zombies, low-budget horror, movies about secret missions
During World War II, the Allies send a squad to shut down a facility thought to house an experiment creating supersoldiers. What they find in the bunker are superhuman Nazi zombies.
